Sometimes it is hard to decide, which trend in fashion you should follow, which pieces you should buy - and it is especially hard this season with all this great trends from the runways around the world.
Normally, you should wear what suits you, what fits in your lifestyle. You shouldn't buy after what is in trend, because in next season, your invest money could sorape it's living in your closet and not outside on the street where it should belong. Wouldn't it be cleverer to invest in a piece, which could be a great add-on not an take it off please?
So I wanted to do you and me a favour and searched for a nice wearable trend, which will last longer than one season. And I finally find one: the bermuda or knee-length-trousers also the culotte, a longer version and with wide-leg, which ends in the middle of your calf.
On the runways this for the winterseason it was worn with knee-high boots or with pumps and tights. Of course, if you live in a hoter region than I do, you could wear this smart trousers without tights. Next season you wear them nearly the same, but in brighter colours or with shoes in brighter colours. And without tights of course, naturally in spring. One important point: they are - most of them are - high-waisted, and sometimes worn with a small belt. But for this winter, you can wear them with a cozy knit.
I picked some different styles for you, so you can wear them everywhere: to work, to a party, into university or for a date.
This trend is one, which I personally would invest in: it is elegant, but very stylish, too. With this trousers you can create more than one outfit and it should fit perfectly in every closet.
So have fun and enjoy this and the next season!
The first picture features two of Fendis looks for Spring/Summer 2013. The Bermuda is longer, nearly a culotte and from leather or woolen fabric.
3 - This look is from Tibis runway for Fall/Winter 2012. It could be worn at work.
4 - One of my favourites: Valentinos great model made of leather for Fall/Winter 2012.
